QlyQ Creator Guidelines & Policies
- Introduction
QlyQ is built to celebrate real stories and local voices across ASEAN. To keep our community safe, fair, and creative, all creators must follow these guidelines when producing, uploading, or interacting with content on QlyQ.
These rules apply to all videos, captions, comments, thumbnails, livestreams, and profile information.
- Eligibility for Creators
Creators must:
- Use their real identity for registration
- Create original content that they have the right to upload
- Follow QlyQ’s community standards and legal requirements
- Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required by local law)
- Not have previously violated copyright, safety, or integrity rules
QlyQ reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion.
- Content Requirements
3.1 Original Content
Creators must upload videos they produced themselves.
Not allowed:
- Reposting videos from TV or movies without permission
- Copyrighted clips, music, or footage without permission
- Content created by other users without clear consent
Allowed:
- Original videos filmed or edited by the creator
- Licensed content with proof of rights
- Royalty-free audio or music from QlyQ’s library
3.2 Respectful & Safe Content
The following are not allowed:
- Hate speech, harassment, or targeting individuals
- Discriminatory or derogatory expressions
- Bullying, threats, or intimidation
- Graphic violence or gore
- Dangerous challenges or harmful activities
3.3 No Adult or Sexual Content
Not allowed:
- Nudity or sexually explicit acts
- Sexualized minors (strict zero tolerance)
- Sexualized dance, fetish content, or explicit gestures
Allowed:
- Educational content that discusses health in a non-graphic way
- Normal dancing, fitness, or cultural performances (non-sexual)
3.4 Minors’ Safety
Content involving minors must:
- Be age-appropriate
- Avoid dangerous, suggestive, or exploitative themes
- Have parental consent if the creator is under 18
Absolutely prohibited:
- Any form of child sexual exploitation
- Putting minors in harmful or dangerous situations
3.5 Accuracy & Integrity
Creators may not upload:
- Misleading information
- Deepfakes intended to deceive
- Fake giveaways, scams, or impersonation
- Manipulated content that causes public harm
Allowed:
- Parody, satire, and comedy clearly labeled as such
- Copyright & Intellectual Property
4.1 Copyright Responsibility
Creators are fully responsible for ensuring they own all rights to content they upload.
Not allowed:
- Unlicensed music
- TV/movie clips
- Other creators’ videos
- News footage without rights
- Game cutscenes from commercial titles (unless permitted)
Allowed:
- Royalty-free audio
- Personal recordings
- Content licensed to you
- User-generated fair-use commentary (non-reupload)
4.2 Takedown Requests
QlyQ accepts valid copyright notices submitted through our official takedown form.
If a claim is made:
- Content may be removed immediately
- Creator will be notified via email
- Creator may submit a counter-notice if the claim is wrong
- Repeat offenders may lose upload privileges
- Monetisation Rules
For monetisation, creators must additionally:
- Follow advertiser-friendly guidelines
- Avoid violence, adult themes, unsafe stunts
- Avoid misleading revenue or investment schemes
- Maintain consistent engagement and authenticity
QlyQ may suspend monetisation for repeated violations.
- Community Behaviour Expectations
Creators must NOT:
- Artificially inflate views, likes, or followers
- Use bots or automation tools
- Engage in mass commenting or spam
- Run misleading promotions
- Buy or sell accounts
Creators MUST:
- Engage respectfully with other users
- Provide honest collaborations and disclosures
- Follow local laws and regulations
- Account Integrity & Security
Creators are responsible for maintaining:
- Safe passwords
- Up-to-date contact info
- No shared accounts unless part of a team (with disclosure)
- No selling, renting, or trading accounts
- Enforcement & Penalties
Depending on severity, QlyQ may apply:
- Warning
- Content removal
- Temporary upload ban
- Account suspension
- Permanent ban (for severe or repeated violations)
Zero-tolerance violations include:
- Child safety violations
- Hate speech
- Major copyright theft
- Fraud or scams
- Extreme violence
- Appeals
Creators may appeal moderation decisions if they believe a mistake was made.
All appeals are reviewed by QlyQ’s moderation team, typically within 3–7 days.
- Updates to These Guidelines
QlyQ may update these guidelines periodically to reflect improvements in safety, legal requirements, and platform features.
